He is opening up more opportunities for Black men and Black rap artist teaching them that they do not have to keep their videos on the perception of the "Hood". Jay-Z has stepped out and painted a new picture of Black Male Artist. Jay-Z shows exactly how life is when you go from a New York City public housing to Condos in Manhattan. When he rap you can see the struggle he went thru but after he has progressed into this power man you can see how his music changed. Jay-Z stepped out of his comfort zone and touch people in larger places. i.e Oprah, Mayor Mike Bloomberg and president Obama.
